How can we be futurists?
As the shelf lives of organisations reduce from decades to potentially less than even one decade, leaders are looking at ways to make sure their company stays the course. Of course the solutions aren’t to be found in reactionary mindsets or actions, rather in ones which reinvent and recreate. Of course many of us find it difficult to be so visionary, it feels like something between snake oil and the ability to look around corners. However there are some practical things that we all can do to prepare ourselves for the next step, to see what might be coming over the horizon, to even contribute to the future of our sector or organisation.
