As South Africans this gives us incredible opportunities, as our beautiful country is one of the most diverse in the world. We are also a country that has a history of colonialism, apartheid, and discrimination on the basis of origin and skin colour. We have come a long way since then, but we still have a very long way to go! We are still presented with many difficulties, misunderstandings and discomfort in our workplaces.

Conversations on diversity, inclusion, equity and discrimination are fraught with misinterpretation, discomfort, sensitivity and defensiveness. When working with clients, we provide disruptive, experiential and enabling interactions that really make a difference for your people and organisation. We challenge perceptions and interpretations in order to develop an environment that increases the participation and contribution of all employees on a personal, interpersonal and organisational level. We focus on diversity and particularly on inclusion. This is about creating an experience where diverse professionals have equal access to opportunities and bring in their differences at work. For us it is about going beyond once-off “feel-good initiatives”; and to create sustainably collaborative and respectful workplaces.
